A legendary Manchester institution housed in a Victorian building dating from the 1860s, Band On The Wall has anchored the city's music scene for generations. The charity-run venue reopened in 2022 after a £3.5m overhaul, expanding its main capacity and adding dedicated learning spaces. Its programme spans global genres from jazz and folk to funk, reggae and world music, and it remains a crucial launching pad for emerging artists.
