These are our standard rates. We agree custom rates with launch partners and higher volume promoters. In the default setup buyers pay the fees at checkout and you receive full face value; you can absorb them instead. Costs that only arise in specific situations, such as chargebacks or cancelling an event, are set out in the Promoter Service Agreement.

Rival figures are taken from each platform's own published pricing, last checked 26 June 2026, and are computed here under one assumption: a single ticket with fees passed to the buyer where the platform supports that. Where a published rate does not state card processing, the full cost of selling can be higher than the fee shown. Rates and inclusions vary by package and can change; always confirm on the platform's own pricing page. Our figures are computed live from our current standard rates by the same code that runs our checkout.
Resident Advisor, DICE, Eventbrite, See Tickets, Ticketmaster, Fatsoma, OutSavvy had no UK standard rate card we could verify from an official source at our last check, so they are not shown in the table. With us, the whole standard fee model is on this page.

What does Rave Essentials charge to sell tickets?
Our standard rate is a commission on the ticket price plus a fixed booking fee per ticket, with card processing passed through at cost. Every component is shown in the calculator above, computed from our live rates. Listing an event is free and there are no monthly charges.
Who pays the fees, the buyer or the promoter?
You choose. In the default setup the fees are added at checkout and the buyer pays them, so you receive the full face value of every ticket. You can instead absorb the fees into your ticket price, in which case the buyer pays face value only.
Are there any hidden fees?
The buyer sees one all-in price before paying, and the standard cost of selling a ticket is exactly what this page shows: commission, booking fee and card processing at cost. There is no setup fee, no monthly fee, no listing fee and no charge for scanning or door tools. Costs that only arise in specific situations, such as chargebacks or cancelling an event, are set out in the Promoter Service Agreement.
