About

Chelmsford City Racecourse is a sprawling 150-acre Essex venue that doubles as a thoroughbred racing facility and large-scale music festival site. Set in countryside surroundings, the open-air concert grounds have hosted everyone from pop legends to contemporary music festivals, with Run Away Festival occupying the space over multiple days. The venue operates year-round with modern facilities, restaurants, and bars built into its impressive grandstand.
