About
Located deep beneath Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow's city centre, Firewater is a two-floor underground bar and club that has anchored the nightlife scene since 2001. The venue spans an impressive subterranean space with a dark, intimate aesthetic and a loyal student following, particularly famous for its Thursday nights with heavily discounted drinks. Split into separate rooms serving indie and rock in one space and disco and funk in another, it thrives on cheap shots, pitchers, and a chaotic but welcoming atmosphere.
