Gorilla occupies a distinctive railway arch on Whitworth Street and blends a sophisticated bar and restaurant with a full-service music and club venue. Built in 2012 on the site of the former Green Room theatre, the space combines an industrial aesthetic with contemporary hospitality, hosting everything from indie rock to electronic nights and club events alongside its state-of-the-art sound system and food operation.
