A Grade II-listed Georgian cotton mill converted into a sprawling multidisciplinary arts hub that blends studio space, galleries, and a thriving underground nightlife scene. Since its transformation began in the late 1990s, the six-storey Ordsall building has become a creative landmark, home to over 100 resident artists and running experimental club nights alongside exhibition programmes and live music. With a 24-hour licence and an unapologetically anti-establishment ethos, Islington Mill hosts genre-defying events ranging from queer-centred house and disco to performance art and electronica.
