About
Mountford Hall is the main gig room of the University of Liverpool's student union, occupying a converted 1960s auditorium with period charm and surprisingly sharp acoustics. The sprawling space holds nearly 2,300 standing and has hosted everyone from Joy Division to Faithless, mixing big-name rock and electronic acts with alternative touring bands. It's part of a wider students' union complex on Mount Pleasant with four bars, making it a natural hub for mid-to-large touring shows in the city.
