A Grade II-listed building with over 130 years of history, this Boscombe venue has evolved from its 1895 life as the Grand Pavilion Theatre through various incarnations as a dance hall, disco, and clubbing institution before becoming O2 Academy Bournemouth in 2009. Today it programmes live rock, pop, indie and alternative acts alongside weekend club nights, with a main auditorium featuring period features including ornate proscenium arch and art-deco styling.
