Tucked beneath Bristol's historic ice rink on Frogmore Street, O2 Academy Bristol is a three-level mid-sized venue that opened as an independent music space in 2001 and became an O2-sponsored Academy in 2009. It plays host to alternative and indie live bands, emerging artists, and club nights ranging from world cup viewing parties to regular student-friendly indie raves like Ramshackle, with separate areas spanning the main auditorium, balcony bar and downstairs reception space.
