A Grade I listed Victorian Gothic theatre from 1885 that reopened as O2 Academy Leeds in 2008, this city-centre venue operates two performance spaces: a 2,300-capacity main auditorium with original brick and exposed beams, and a 400-capacity basement room called the Underground. The building's storied past includes stints as a cinema, bingo hall, and the legendary Town and Country Club before its conversion into a modern live entertainment destination that hosts everything from indie rock to electronic events.
