About
An unvarnished East London institution where raw energy trumps polish. The Old Blue Last sits on the corner of Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, its compact upstairs stage built for volume and immediacy. Since Vice bought the former brothel in 2004, it has hosted early shows by Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Idles and countless emerging artists, drawing young Londoners for gigs seven nights a week and free Friday night club nights that run until 2am.
