Housed in a grade II* listed 1830s wool market hall on St Thomas Street, The Fleece is Bristol's largest independent music venue. Since opening as a live music space in 1982, it has hosted Radiohead, Oasis, Muse, Amy Winehouse, and countless touring acts, whilst hosting club nights seven nights a week. A 2021 redesign brought expanded capacity, new PA and lighting systems, and modern facilities inside a characterful Victorian shell with exposed brick and flagstone flooring.
