About
An intimate 200-capacity former industrial unit on Manchester's outskirts that has rapidly become one of the UK's most respected underground venues. Born from the locally rooted Animal Crossing promoters, The Loft houses a Funktion-One sound system and deliberately eschews polish in favour of authenticity, hosting a blend of international and grassroots talent from Berlin techno titans to emerging local selectors. Named Best Club in the UK at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards, it captures the spirit of an after-hours gathering within a larger warehouse setting, attracting dancers rather than spectators.
