Wylam Brewery occupies the Palace of Arts, a Grade II listed building in Exhibition Park that's the last standing structure from the 1929 North East Exhibition. The Grade II listed Grand Hall hosts live music events ranging from indie and alternative acts to soul, tribute bands and DJ sets, alongside an operating craft brewery with a separate taproom open Thursday to Sunday. The venue pulls in diverse crowds with regular sold-out shows and operates with a focus on alternative culture.
